The Hamburg Grain Exchange operates on the premises of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce
and under the umbrella of the Hamburg Stock Exchange, the oldest stock exchange in Germany.
Commitment to the economic interests of our members
The original purpose of the Hamburg Grain Exchange was to promote the economic interests of its members and to provide a forum for the initiation and mediation of trade transactions in grain, oilseeds, animal feed, pulses, seeds and related articles as well as service businesses. Today, these tasks are largely performed by the Grain Traders’ Association of the Hamburg Stock Exchange e.V. (VdG e.V.), which also manages the business of the exchange.
The Hamburg Grain Exchange operates on the premises of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and under the roof of the Hamburg Stock Exchange, the oldest stock exchange in Germany, founded in 1558.
Individual traders as well as employees of companies in the industry can be admitted as exchange members. Members receive reduced ticket prices for the stock exchange event of the VdG e.V. and are entitled to vote in the board elections of the Hamburg Grain Exchange. The membership fee is 30 euros per person per year. If you would like to become a member, please send your application for admission in writing to the office.
